On 10/26 a ceremony was held for Bovespa Holding S.A. to join BOVESPA’s Novo Mercado. At the opening of the trading session, the company began trading its common stocks under the code BOVH3.
With the new member, the number of companies taking part in BOVESPA’s special listing segments now totals 148 – 86 in Novo Mercado, 20 in Nível 2 and 42 in Nível 1. The company has also joined the portfolio of the Special Corporate Governance Stock Index - IGC.
Bovespa Holdings will enter the FTSE/Mondo Visione Exchange Index from the start of trading on Monday 29th October 2007.
