Barclays jumped 60t, on nearly 70,000 shares to P14.50 on the back of a 44t special dividend and Sechaba surged 20t or 2.5% to P8.20 ahead of interim results due next week. FNBB weakened to P7.60 (-15t) on 23,000 shares but Stanchart added 5t to P6.00 on just over 30,000 shares. Chobe closed unchanged at 60t on 22,513 shares but was suspended following the irregular publication of their interim results. MRIB went ex-div and subsequently lost 20t to P2.00 on 13,600 shares.
Turnover for the week fell to P1,544,226 on 229,521 shares.
