Borsa Italiana Monthly Key Figures - June

Turnover for June was EUR 65,275.7 million. This compares to EUR 74,788.3 million in May. Domestic turnover in June was EUR 61,722.8 million, foreign turnover EUR 1,751.2 million, Nuovo Mercato EUR 1,696.7 million and on the Ristretto market EUR 105.0 million. Turnover for the period January to June 2000 was EUR 484,928.3 million.

There were 271 listed companies at the end of June. There were 233 domestic, 6 foreign, 15 Nuovo Mercato companies and 17 listed on the Risretto market.

There were 346 listed shares at the end of June. There were 307 domestic, 6 foreign, 15 Nuovo Mercato shares and 18 listed on the Risretto market.

Market capitalisation at the end of June was EUR 820,676 million. This comprised EUR 794,471 on the domestic market, EUR 20,206 million on the Nuovo Mercato and EUR 5,999 million on the Ristretto market.
