Borsa Italiana Monthly Key Figures - July

Turnover for July was EUR 55,587.2 million. This compares to EUR 65,275.7 million in June. Domestic turnover in July was EUR 52,260.1 million, foreign turnover EUR 1,853.6 million, Nuovo Mercato EUR 1,396.9 million and on the Ristretto market EUR 76.6 million. Turnover for the period January to July 2000 was EUR 540,515.5million.

There were 277 listed companies at the end of July. There were 234 domestic, 5 foreign, 21 Nuovo Mercato companies and 17 listed on the Risretto market.

There were 349 listed shares at the end of July. There were 305 domestic, 5 foreign, 21 Nuovo Mercato shares and 18 listed on the Risretto market.

Market capitalisation at the end of July was EUR 822,846 million. This comprised EUR 792,966 on the domestic market, EUR 23,934 million on the Nuovo Mercato and EUR 5,946 million on the Ristretto market.
