In his address at the Opening Bell Ceremony, Korkmaz Ergun, the CEO of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş., stated the following:

Today, I welcome you all to the Opening Bell Ceremony as we celebrate the listing of Koton Mağazacılık at Borsa İstanbul.
Koton Mağazacılık, sets a good example of brand building and entrepreneurship.
It is a very successful business model with its brand, partnership structure, suppliers, customers, corporate structure, sustainability principles, social responsibility and many other aspects.
By starting to be traded on Borsa İstanbul today, it has not only accessed the long-term financing it needs to realize its goals, but has also taken a very important step that will contribute to the growth and development of this successful business model and brand.
I would like to congratulate Koton's valuable executives for this strategic decision.
I would like to extend my thanks to everyone who contributed to the IPO of Koton, all company employees and the intermediary institution. I wish this IPO to be auspicious for our capital markets and I would like to welcome Koton to Borsa İstanbul family.
