Kocaer Çelik starts trading on Borsa İstanbul on June 30, 2022. Shares offered to the public will be traded on BIST STARS with the ticker code “KCAER”.
In his address at the Opening Bell Ceremony, Korkmaz Ergun, the CEO of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş., stated the following:

Today, I welcome you all to your home, to the Opening Bell Ceremony hosted by our Exchange as we celebrate the listing of Kocaer Çelik at our Exchange.
Kocaer Çelik ranks first in steel exports in the Aegean Region. It is an outstanding company endorsing institutionalization and branding. The company will continue to provide foreign currency inflows to our country while increasing the share of value-added products with the new investments it will realize thanks to the IPO revenue. In these successful activities, Kocaer Çelik will always feel the support of its new stakeholders joining the company through IPO.
Kocaer Çelik is the 23rd company that launch an IPO this year. Thus, in the first half of 2022, we launched 23 IPOs and achieved an IPO amount of over 10 billion TL. Kocaer Çelik will be traded on BIST STARS. It will be included in Borsa İstanbul indices such as BIST Industrials, BIST Basic Metal and BIST Izmir.
