Postponed due to the pandemic, the opening bell ceremony for OYAK Yatırım’s initial public offering (IPO), which was successfully completed on June 2-3-4, 2021 was hosted in Borsa İstanbul. Started to be listed in the Stock Exchange on June 10, the initial public offering size of OYAK Yatırım was 526 million TL.
The opening bell ceremony for OYAK Yatırım was hosted by Borsa İstanbul A.Ş. It was organized with the participation of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş. CEO Korkmaz Ergun, OYAK Finance Sector Group President Emrah Silav, OYAK Yatırım CEO Erkan Unal and their teams.
Borsa İstanbul A.Ş. CEO Korkmaz Ergun asserted that brokerage firms are essential business partners and stakeholders of Borsa İstanbul, Ergun further added: “During the pandemic, we maintained offering all services uninterruptedly as Borsa İstanbul together with brokerage firms. Our sector tested rigorously and yet, we were able to adapt to changing conditions rapidly. I would like to extend my thanks to our brokerage firms for their devoted efforts. As the stock market, we are always by their side.
Erkan Ünal, the CEO of OYAK Yatırım said: “We received more than two times the demand for our 526 million TL IPO. The amount of demands from corporate investors, which we attach particular importance, reached 3.8 times. We are aware that our responsibilities have increased once again. We are the sole brokerage firms that has the opportunity to offer various products operating in different branches such as insurance and investment funding under a single roof, as well as brokerage services with 40 years of experience. We will take our company to higher levels with new projects and provide significant gains to our investors in the years to come.
