Borsa İstanbul continues to enhance financial literacy and proficiency, while cultivating a qualified workforce for the capital markets, by providing a diverse array of training and development programs offered to a broader community, including intermediary institutions, associations, companies, universities, students, and various professional groups.
As part of Borsa İstanbul Group Training Programs designed for stakeholders in our country's capital markets, Borsa İstanbul provided nearly 1,000 participants with access to accurate and qualified information about the capital markets through 30 different programs in 2023-2024, offered in comprehensive manner. In 2025, Borsa Group maintains its contribution to the future of the financial ecosystem, the growth of sectoral communication, and the advancement of industry professionals' knowledge levels. The continuously evolving training programs, delivered with cutting-edge information and practices, are conducted by expert teams from Borsa İstanbul Group at the Borsa İstanbul campus. This allows employees from intermediary institutions, banks, financial institutions, portfolio management companies, data distribution organizations, companies planning launch an IPO, public companies, member institutions utilizing or planning to use services such as KAP and colocation, as well as technical experts, to gain firsthand knowledge and experience. The training sessions launched in 2025 are available on the Borsa İstanbul Education Portal.
As for the international activities side, training and consultancy programs aimed at global stock exchanges are being organized. In collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a part of the World Bank Group and the largest global development institution concentrating on the private sector in emerging markets, Borsa İstanbul hosted an international training on Green Bonds at its campus. Approximately 40 senior bankers from leading global banks and 38 different countries participated in the program.
In 2023-2024, Borsa İstanbul reached approximately 2500 participants, mostly university students by implementing financial literacy training initiatives that were designed to disseminate knowledge and experience regarding capital markets to the grassroots level. These initiatives included the Student Training Program, BIST Course, BIST Tour, and BIST Lab, which were offered free of charge.
With its financial literacy training initiatives aimed at spreading knowledge and experience about the capital markets to the grassroots level, Borsa İstanbul reached approximately 2,500 participants, mostly university students, through free programs such as the Student Training Program, BIST Course, BIST Tour, and BIST Lab in 2023-2024. The Borsa Application and Financial Simulation Laboratories (BİSTLAB) provide university students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all business and transaction processes within the finance field. Capital market stakeholders continue to participate in free programs designed for them within Borsa İstanbul.
Through Borsa İstanbul's talent acquisition programs, BIST Talents and IT Specialist Assistants are gaining in-depth expertise in their fields with specialized training programs within the Borsa İstanbul Corporate Academy (BİSTA), which was established to nurture the next generation of experts who will guide both our domestic and international capital markets. In addition to its financial literacy activities aimed at the broader public, Borsa İstanbul Group continues to support synergy among stakeholders by offering not only theoretical training but also practical training programs. This approach contributes to increasing depth and awareness within the capital markets.
