Bolsas y Mercados Españoles To Pay A € 47.6 Million Extraordinary Dividend Tomorrow - Shareholders To Receive A Gross Dividend Of 0.569 Euro Per Share

BME will tomorrow distribute a €47.6 million extraordinary dividend among its shareholders against voluntary reserves or a gross 0.569 euros per share, as agreed by the General Shareholders Meeting that was held on April 30th.

On May 7th BME distributed a €84.9 million final dividend among its shareholders or 1.01647 euros per share, which combined with the €0.956 euros per share interim dividend distributed last January, will increase the ordinary dividend by 65% to 1.97 euros per share.

The company's payout stands at 82%, ranking it among the highest in the sector worldwide.

Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) posted a net profit of €55.4 million in the first quarter of 2008, which represents a 10.6% increase from the same period in 2007. The figure represents an all-time high for BME quarterly profits.
