Over 300 professionals representing IBEX 35® companies as well as numerous universities and law firms have come together in the Spanish stock exchange for a seminar concerned with the latest legal and corporate governance developments affecting General Shareholders Meetings and Boards of Directors of listed companies.
The gathering was led by Luis María Cazorla Prieto, Secretary to the Board of Directors of BME and Alberto Alonso Ureba, Professor of Company Law at the Rey Juan Carlos University. Antonio Zoido, Chairman of BME, opened the event and Manuel Olivencia, Professor and member of the Board of Directors of BME, made a general presentation.
Speaking at the seminar’s different panels and conferences were fourteen prestigious Professors of Company Law from different Spanish Universities, who dealt with the different legal trends affecting the General Shareholders Meeting and the Boards of Directors of listed companies, from a technical and practical perspective.
