Bolsa De Madrid Trades 92 New Warrants

As of today, Bolsa de Madrid began trading 92 new warrants issued by Santander Central Hispano Investment The incorporation of these certificates brings the number of warrants listed on the Bolsa de Madrid to 978. The new warrants have been issued on the following indices: Ibex 35, Dow Jones and Nasdaq 1000.

As for the shares the warrants have been issued on the following domestic shares: Altadis, Amadeus, BBVA, Endesa, Iberdrola, Inditex, Indra, Repsol, Santander, Telefónica, Telefónica Móviles, TPI and Zeltia as well as the following foreign shares: Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom and Nokia. The Euro / Dollar and Euro / Yen exchange rates will also act as underlying assets for the warrants issued.

This has been the first time the Euro / Yen exchange rate is incorporated to the wide range of underlying assets on which the warrants are issued. Among the 92 new warrants are 56 call warrants and 36 put. All issues are American style, with automatic execution and an expiry date fixed on 17 December 2004
