The Spanish shares that will act as the underlying assets for the 35 warrants are as follows: Amadeus, BBVA, Endesa, Iberdrola, Repsol, SCH and Telefónica.
The foreign shares that will act as the underlying assets of the 17 warrants issued on those shares are as follows: AXA BNP, Deutsche Telecom, ING Groep N.V. and Nokia OYJ. ING Groep N.V. has entered the market as a new underlying asset.
Five warrants have been admitted to trading on the Ibex 35 index, another 5 on the International Dow Jones Industrial Average and another 4 on the DAX.
Bolsa de Madrid has also admitted to trading 1 call warrant of the Asian type issued on a basket of indices being those the CAC 40, FTSE 100, DAX and SMI.
Among the listed issues are call and put warrants, all of which work in the same way as American warrants. Their expiry dates are June 17 2005 and September 16 2005. The warrant of Asian Type works as European warrants and the expiry date is May 14 2008.
With these new admissions the number of warrants traded on the market is now 1,307.
