Bolsa De Madrid Trades 37 New Warrants

As of today Bolsa de Madrid will begin trading 37 new warrants issued by Banesto Banco de Emisiones. The underlying assets for the warrants are domestic and foreign shares and domestic indices.

The Spanish shares that will act as the underlying assets for 23 warrants are as follows: BBVA, Endesa, Repsol, SCH and Telefónica.

The foreign shares that will act as the underlying assets for 8 warrants are as follows: Deutsche Telekom and Nokia. The underlying asset for the 6 remaining warrants is the Ibex 35 index.

Among the issues are call and put warrants, all of which work in the same way as American warrants. Their expiry date is 16 December 2005.

With these new admissions the number of warrants traded on the Bolsa de Madrid is now 1,182.
