Bolsa De Madrid Admits To Trading 23 New Warrants

As of August 1 Bolsa de Madrid will begin trading 23 new warrants issued by Banesto Banco de Emisiones. The underlying assets of the warrants are Spanish shares and indices.

The Spanish shares that will act as the underlying assets for 20 warrant certificates are as follows: BBVA, BSCH, Iberdrola, Repsol and Telefónica.

As regards the stocks issued on domestic indices, 3 issues have been made on the Ibex 35 index.

Among the listed issues are call and put warrants, all of which work like American warrants (i.e. they can be exercised at anytime until the expiry date of the warrant).

The incorporation of these certificates brings the number of warrants listed on the Bolsa de Madrid to 1,248, of which 481 have been admitted to trading this year.
