According to its order book statistics, Boerse Stuttgart generated turnover of more than EUR 5.5 billion in September 2017. In equity trading, the order book turnover was more than EUR 1.3 billion, representing an increase of about 9 percent compared with the previous year. The turnover in German equities was EUR 954 million. The trading volume of international equities was almost 5 percent higher than in August, at EUR 378 million.
Securitised derivatives accounted for the largest share of the turnover. The trading volume in this asset class was around EUR 2.3 billion. Turnover in warrants was up by around 19 percent compared with August, at approximately EUR 324 billion. Turnover in derivative investment products was around EUR 1.2 billion.
Turnover from trading in debt instruments was more than EUR 1 billion. Corporate bonds accounted for the largest share of the trading volume, with almost EUR 756 million.
September’s order book turnover in exchange-traded products was more than EUR 752 million, while the turnover in investment fund units was more than EUR 101 million. This represents an increase of around 46 percent compared with the previous month.
