The Board of Appeal of the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) has ruled against an appeal by Onix Asigurari SA, a Romanian insurer, on a decision by the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA).
The EIOPA decision related to a challenge by Onix Asigurari SA against IVASS, the Italian insurance regulator. The Board of Appeal decided that the appeal was inadmissible, since it was not an appeal against a “decision” of EIOPA such as to give a right of appeal.
