BNP Paribas Asset Management (‘BNPP AM’) announces the appointments of two new members of its Sustainability Centre, strengthening its capabilities in stewardship and research into equality and inclusive growth investment themes.
Nogoye Dieng joined as a Senior Stewardship Analyst. She will focus on voting activities, analysing AGM agendas and ensuring the application of BNPP AM's detailed voting policy. She will also be involved in company engagement on a range of ESG issues. Nogoye reports to Michael Herskovich, Global Head of Stewardship, and is based in Paris.
Sindhu Janakiram joined as an ESG Analyst, Equality Lead. He joins the Sustainability research team as the lead researcher on 'S' topics. He will also support the team’s work on ESG and SDG-related data/model development, corporate issuer and thematic investment research, sustainability integration across BNPP AM, company engagement and social-themed product development. Sindhu reports to Alexander Bernhardt, Global Head of Sustainability Research, and is based in New York.

Biographies
Nogoye Dieng
Nogoye has extensive experience in governance research and stewardship. At PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment), Nogoye was a Senior Specialist in charge of signatory relations. She specialised in stewardship and was on the diversity and inclusion working group. Previously, Nogoye worked for ISS (Institutional Shareholder Services) as Deputy Head of French Governance Research and was in charge of the proxy voting research and policy for the French market. Nogoye holds a Master of Law in European Union Law from the University of Reading.
Sindhu Janakiram
Sindhu has extensive experience in driving sustainable performance in the private sector, leading ESG research and developing partnerships with NGOs. In 2020, he co-founded Refugee Integration Insights (RII), the first specialised provider of private sector refugee data and insights. Through RII he facilitated sustainable solutions to the growing refugee crisis by providing investors and other organisations with the information needed to track and assess corporate refugee action using quantitative & qualitative metrics. Sindhu holds a Masters in Public Administration from NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
