BNP Paribas Asset Management (“BNPP AM”) announces the appointment of Hagen Schremmer as Head of Germany, effective June 1st 2020. He will be responsible for all asset management activities in Germany.
Hagen will report to Charles Janssen, Head of Northern Europe and Co-Head of Distribution Europe at BNPP AM and locally to Lutz Diederichs, CEO Germany of BNP Paribas Group. He will be based in Frankfurt am Main.
Hagen Schremmer joins from Deutsche Bank Group where he worked for the last 20 years. He has an extensive background and held senior sales and product positions across Wealth & Asset Management and investment banking. Since 2017 he was Head of Retail & Wholesale Distribution, Germany & Austria at DWS Group. He was also a member of the Board of Managing Directors of DWS International GmbH and a member of the Executive Committee for the EMEA region.
