David started his career as a lawyer with Skadden, where he advised a wide range of French and international companies on their expansion strategy, in the financial and industrial sectors. He then joined the French central bank (Banque de France), where he was involved in analysing significant transactions in the financial sector.

David holds a Masters in Management from HEC, a Masters in Political Sciences & Public Affairs from Sciences Po and a Masters in Analysis & Policy in Economics (applied mathematics) from EHESS/Ecole Normale Supérieure. He also holds a Masters in Communications/Intellectual Property law from Paris I Sorbonne and a Masters in Business Law from Paris II Assas. He is a member of the Paris Bar. He has taught international macroeconomics and law at Sciences Po and HEC, and has developed several non-profit projects in the fields of education, the environment and biodiversity.

Frédéric Janbon, CEO BNP Paribas Asset Management, said: “I would like to thank Pascal Biville for his outstanding contribution to BNPP AM over the past 14 years. David brings a wealth of expertise in the finance industry. His extensive experience in terms of strategy and corporate development will be instrumental in our future development plans.”
