BME: REGIS-TR – Confident Of Obtaining Esma License In Minimum Time Period

REGIS-TR, the European Trade Repository owned by Clearstream (Deutsche Börse Group) and Iberclear (BME) trusts its submitted application for registration will benefit from the full guarantee of being accepted by ESMA. This is due to the comprehensive discussions REGIS-TR has been involved in with ESMA in order to verify the compliance, accuracy and completeness of its business offer. Consequently, it is confident it will obtain the license in the minimum period stipulated by the regulation and that ESMA is expected to start granting licenses from 25 June.

Obtaining the Trade Repository license for all asset classes in Europe promptly is just one of the key elements REGIS-TR is committed to delivering as part of its business proposition.
