Citigroup Global Markets Limited has begun operating as a new member of AIAF, BME’s Corporate Debt market, after achieving the status of participating entity on this market.
Prior to this, the financial institution was a member of SENAF, BME’s Public Debt electronic trading platform. In July last year it merged with AIAF, the Governing Body of which has since managed the said platform. Since June SENAF has offered, among other products, government-backed corporate debt products.
As a market member, Citigroup Global Markets Limited can now trade in these Government-backed assets, whose trading volume on AIAF stands now at €38.80 billion, as well as in the rest of corporate debt issues admitted to trading on AIAF.
