See BM&FBOVESPA’s trading hours for February 18, 2015 (Ash Wednesday):

Equities market

Regular hours

- From 12:30 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. – order cancelation.
- From 12:45 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. – pre-opening.
- From 1:00 p.m. to 4:55 p.m. – trading.
- From 4:50 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. – closing call for BOVESPA Index options and for options on the IBrX-50 Index.
- From 4:55 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. – closing call for all of the securities traded on the cash and odd lots market.
- From 4:55 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. – closing call for all option series and ETF units.

After-market

- From 5.25 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. – order cancellation.
- From 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – trading.

Blocking/exercise on the equity options market and options on ETF units market

- From 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – exercise of the holder position.
- From 1:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. – blocking.

Blocking/exercise on the equity index options market

For series not expiring on February 18
- From 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. – exercise of the holder position.
- From 1:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. – blocking.

For BOVESPA Index option series expiring on February 18:
- There will be no trading.
- After 5:00 p.m. – automatic exercise of the expiring holder positions where:
– call option: the settlement index is higher than the strike price.
– put option: the settlement index is lower than the strike price.
