The Brazilian Securities, Commodities and Futures Exchange – BM&FBOVESPA registered on April 27, the historic mark of 1,630,115 contracts traded in 155,637 trades via Direct Market Access (DMA) in the derivatives segment. The previous records were 1,326,184 contracts traded (set on 3/18/2010) and 151,437 trades (set on 4/16/2010), respectively.
The number of contracts and trades carried out via co-location also set records during yesterday’s trading session: 187,864 contracts in 51,841 trades; in contrast to 126,390 contracts (set on 4/22/2010) and 42,364 trades (set on 4/16/2010).
