BM&FBOVESPA is participating in two international events in London as of today, June 1. The first is the fourth edition of Mondo Visione Exchange Forum, which takes place on Tuesday (June 1) and Wednesday (June 2). The organizers of the forum expect roughly 300 attendees, including executives, clients and suppliers of trading platforms, international banks, funds, portfolio managers, regulators and academics. More than ten panels will discuss topics relating to the equities and securities markets. BM&FBOVESPA is a panelist in the session on the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China, considered the most economically promising among emerging markets).
The second London event is International Derivatives Expo (IDX), whose third edition takes place on June 8-9. BM&FBOVESPA will have a booth and will also participate in two panels. IDX is one of the most significant events for the derivatives industry, since it showcases the most advanced products and solutions, attracting the leading traders in the European derivatives markets. BM&FBOVESPA will take part in two sessions: “CME Group: How global partnerships can benefit clients” and “Connecting to BRIC”. In the first, executives will discuss how partner exchanges are working together to enhance the efficiency of global operations and create new business opportunities for customers to help open up access to some of the world’s leading commodity and environmental markets. The second session will focus on how derivatives markets in the BRICs are connecting with international market participants and on what these exchanges offer global players.
