As of August 20 BM&FBOVESPA S.A. started trading its common stocks on Novo Mercado under the code BVMF3.
The new company results from the integration between BM&F S.A. (Brazilian Mercantile & Futures Exchange – code: BMEF3) and BOVESPA Holding S.A. (São Paulo Stock Exchange – code: BOVH3), whose stocks are no longer traded. BM&FBOVESPA also integrates the portfolio of the Special Corporate Governance Stock Index - IGC.
There are currently 164 companies in BOVESPA's special corporate governance segments; 102 in Novo Mercado, 18 in Nível 2 and 44 in Nível 1.
