BM&FBOVESPA announces the first preview for the BOVESPA Index theoretical portfolio, which will be valid for the period of January 07-May 03, 2013, based on the closing of the November 30, 2012 session. The preview registered no changes in the Ibovespa portfolio, which is made up of 68 stocks from 63 companies.
The five stocks with the heaviest weight in this index were: Vale PNA (9.015%), Petrobras PN (8.455%), OGX Petróleo ON (5.056%), Itauunibanco PN (4.446%) and PDG Realt ON (3.416%).
For purposes of comparison, the stocks with the heaviest weighting in the Ibovespa portfolio for September 03-December 30, 2012 were: Vale PNA (9.129%), Petrobras PN (8.221%), OGX Petróleo ON (5.163%), Itauunibanco PN (4.476%) e PDG Realt ON (3.650%).
BM&FBOVESPA regularly announces three new previews of the indices: the first preview on the first trading session of the last month of the existing portfolio, the second on the session following the 15th of the last month of the existing portfolio and the third on the last trading session of the last month of the existing portfolio. The Exchange also announces the portfolios of the other indices that it calculates.
