Uncomplicated and secure trading in cryptocurrencies on the smartphone: this is possible with BISON, Boerse Stuttgart Group’s crypto app. BISON has now introduced Chainlink (LINK) and Uniswap (UNI) as additional tradable cryptocurrencies. It is also possible to transfer the two cryptocurrencies from BISON to a private wallet. "We are continuously screening for which cryptocurrencies we can offer trading and custody in the reliable set-up of BISON. Chainlink and Uniswap are now the next step. Further cryptocurrencies will follow after thorough technical and regulatory examination," said Dr Ulli Spankowski, CEO of Sowa Labs GmbH, the subsidiary of Boerse Stuttgart Digital Ventures GmbH which developed the BISON app. BISON currently has more than 500,000 active users.
BISON is now also available in a desktop version at https://bisonapp.com, which offers functionalities comparable to the app. "We have received a lot of feedback from interested people who want to trade cryptocurrencies as easily as possible, but prefer their PC to do so. That's why we are creating the flexibility at BISON to use the app or the desktop version, depending on preference," says Spankowski.
Users can trade Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash, Chainlink and Uniswap on BISON, free of charge and at the prices displayed. Limit orders are also possible, where users set a price at which they want to buy or sell a cryptocurrency. BISON makes its profit from the spreads between the buying and selling prices displayed. There are no additional costs for users. Trading on BISON is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The trading partner of the users at BISON is EUWAX AG, a subsidiary of Boerse Stuttgart GmbH that is regulated in Germany as a financial services provider. Users therefore buy and sell cryptocurrencies from and to EUWAX AG in each case. blocknox GmbH, a subsidiary of Boerse Stuttgart Digital Ventures GmbH, takes care of the custody of cryptocurrencies for users at BISON on an escrow basis. In mid-October, blocknox GmbH has bought insurance for a part of its assets under custody, which protects against hacker attacks and theft. Interested citizens with one of 72 nationalities can download the BISON app, provided that their principal place of residence is in the European Economic Area or Switzerland.
