On 17 November 2015, Greg Wojciechowski, CEO of the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX), addressed an audience of over 100 delegates at the inaugural Monaco Growth Forum at the Fairmont Monaco.
During his talk, Greg Wojciechowski introduced Bermuda and the BSX’s international business platform to senior management of international companies seeking to raise capital for product development and corporate expansion. He noted that of the 660 BSX listed securities, over 50 are international equities which have found listing on the BSX to be advantageous to support their capital raising needs.
He also discussed efforts by global exchanges to create environments that support entrepreneurs in seeking, locating and securing much needed capital for products and service development.
He noted that the leaders of the world recognized stock exchanges realize that global and domestic economic recovery and growth happen from the grass roots up and thus support of entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises is essential to this process.
