BBVA’s ETF “FTSE4GOOD IBEX ETF” To Start Trading On The Spanish Stock Exchange On Wednesday

As of Wednesday, October 1st, the exchange traded fund (ETF) FTSE4GOOD IBEX ETF, issued by BBVA, will start trading on the ETF segment of the Spanish stock exchange, following the approval given by the stock market regulator.

With the incorporation of the FTSE4GOOD IBEX ETF, the issuer, BBVA, will have 8 ETFs trading on the segment, namely: Acción IBEX 35® ETF, Acción IBEX Top Dividendo ETF, Acción DJ Eurostoxx 50 ETF, Acción FTSE Latibex Top ETF, Acción FTSE Latibex Brasil ETF, AFI Bonos Medio Plazo Euro ETF, AFI Monetario Euro ETF and FTSE4GOOD IBEX ETF. The Spanish stock exchange’s ETF segment started on 20 July 2006 and it currently trades 29 ETFs. The trading volume reported by the segment between January and August was € 5.03 bn, up 106.5% from the same period in 2007. BME is looking forward to completing its ETF range by listing ETFs on other equity and fixed income indices as well as ETFs listed on other stock markets, thus broadening the range of financial products the company offers to the financial community.
