BB HiTECH AG Is 35th Investment Company Listing On SWX Swiss Exchange

The shares of BB HiTECH, headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, were traded for the first time today on the SWX Swiss Exchange. The public offering price was set on Sunday evening at CHF 160. The opening price in SWX trading today stood 3% above that level at CHF 165, representing a total market capitalisation of CHF 726 million.

According to the listing prospectus, all 4.4 million of the bearer shares reflected in the Commercial Register, equivalent to 100% of the company's outstanding stock, were to be listed in the investment company segment of the SWX Swiss Exchange.

BB HiTECH AG is a sector-specific investment company that offers its shareholders the opportunity to participate in strongly growing companies in the telecommunications industry, particularly those involved in mobile telephony. Its investment strategy is geared towards medium-sized, exchange-listed European companies. Together with BB MEDTECH and BB Biotech, BB HiTECH is now the third investment vehicle of Bellevue Asset Management AG to be listed on SWX.
