Bats, a CBOE Holdings, Inc. company, and a leading market for exchange-traded fund (ETF) trading globally, today welcomed a new iShares fund to the Bats ETF Marketplace.
The iShares MSCI Argentina and Global Exposure ETF (Bats: AGT) seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI All Argentina 25/50 Index (the “Underlying Index”), which is designed to measure the broad Argentina equity universe. The Underlying Index includes the equity securities of companies that are classified as in Argentina; companies that are either headquartered or listed in Argentina and have significant linkage to Argentina; and companies that have an economic exposure to Argentina.
The fund is the 42nd iShares product to list on Bats. Year-to-date, Bats has welcomed 29 ETFs to its U.S. market. In the first quarter of 2017, Bats welcomed a total of 23 ETFs from eight issuers to the Bats ETF Marketplace, and won 33% of all new
