The BATS 1000 Index offers a listings-neutral, broad snapshot of the U.S. equities marketplace bytracking the performance of 1,000 securities classified in 10 important industry sectors. The 10 index sectors are adjusted to an equal weighting based on the current value of the index every June during an annual reconstitution process.
