The Bank of England carries out stress tests on banks to check how they might cope with difficult economic situations.
We have now published the 
key elements of our 2017 stress tests.
This year’s tests will include two scenarios:
- 2017 annual cyclical scenario
- 2017 biennial exploratory scenario
