B3 announced today the launch of its new Market Maker Program for long call options on PETR4 and VALE3.
The chief goal of the program is to promote liquidity over long-term maturities (September, October, November and December 2018) in the Equity Options market during that period. As of today until October 5, the company Optiver will act as market maker for Petrobras (PETR4) and Vale (VALE3) call options contracts.
The Program
B3’s Market Maker Program is committed to posting bid and ask orders regularly and continually during trading sessions, thus fostering the liquidity of securities, facilitating trading and mitigating artificial price movements of financial products.
