Today, B3 hit a historical record of trades carried out in the BM&F and BOVESPA segments, reaching 4,926,316 trades. The earlier mark was 4,734,609 trades on August 10, 2018.
Furhermore, in the BM&F segment regarding the overall trades total, 2,535,931 trades were recorded until today’s market closing time. The previous record was achieved on June 08, 2018 with 2,265,718 trades.
Ibovespa's mini futures contracts (WIN) and mini U.S. Dollar futures contracts (WDO) and trades also hit a record high today.
For the mini futures contract trades, 1,652,269 trades were carried out today against 1,362,330 on July 06, 2018, the previous record date. With regard to contracts, 5,150,360 contracts were recorded today compared to 4,544,144 on October 26, 2018, the previous record date.
For the mini U.S. Dollar futures contract trades, a record breaking number of 2,232,592 trades was achieved today against 1,899,389 on March 03, 2018, the previous record date. With regard to contracts, the new record is 714,499, against 625,527 contracts recorded on March 10, 2018, the previous record date.
