b-next, a specialist provider of Market Abuse Surveillance, Insider Dealing and Compliance software solutions, announces the appointment of Christoph Böhmerle as International Projects and Business Development Manager. Mr Böhmerle will supervise all global projects and will work closely with the international sales teams to expand b-next’s footprint.
A veteran of the industry, Mr Böhmerle joins b-next with over 20 years’ experience in financial services, working across finance, IT infrastructure and compliance. He brings expertise of both the buy and sell-side; the development of IT applications for the front and back office; and securities trading. He was most recently a compliance officer at Erste Bank Group in Vienna, head of capital markets and treasury applications at sIT Solutions. Prior to that he was at SmartStream Technologies as head of global support and IT infrastructure, and began his career as a securities trader.

Joining b-next will provide me with the platform to tackle these pressing issues head on. One of my key aims will be to liaise directly with b-next’s clients, ensuring that we continue to provide value to their businesses and secure new projects to continue the growth of the company,” says Christoph Böhmerle.
