Recommendations concerning the compensation of executive officers of companies with securities listed on a regulated market were formulated by the French employers' confederation, MEDEF, and the private companies association, AFEP, and were published on 6 October 2008. Further to this, at their meeting on 7 October 2008, Cabinet ministers called on the boards of directors of these companies to adopt the recommendations before the end of 2008. Accordingly, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) has centralised this information and today is publishing a review of disclosures regarding adoption of the AFEP/MEDEF recommendations.
