- Enhancing investment protection and bolstering the confidence of individual investors;
- Delivering heightened risk monitoring, closer supervision of market participants, and more effective penalties;
- Playing a more active role in efforts to increase the attractiveness of the French markets, for the benefit of retail investors and the financing of the country's economy.
In addition, for the third year running, the AMF has published a study mapping out the risks and trends for financial markets and retail savings, both in France and internationally. This analysis hinges on two issues: firstly, wholesale financial markets, which are chiefly driven by intermediaries, listed companies and institutional investors; and secondly, the market in individual and collective investments and the risks to retail investors.
