Australian Stock Exchange Limited Election of Directors/Date of AGM

In accordance with listing rule 3.13.1, ASX advises that the annual general meeting of Australian Stock Exchange Limited has been scheduled for Monday 29 October 2001 at 11am. At that meeting, an item of business will be the election of directors. Under the constitution each of Mr Michael Shepherd, Mr James Kennedy and Mr Clive Batrouney will retire as director and being eligible will offer themselves for re-election.
