NZX is hosting the annual Australasian Investor Relations Association (AIRA) course “Essentials of a Successful Investor Relations Programme” on November 4 at the NZX Centre in Wellington. This one day course is free for NZX listed company delegates.
"This is the second year NZX has offered free registration for our listed companies,” said NZX Corporate Head, Rowan Macrae.
“The AIRA course represents a high quality professional development opportunity for Investor Relations professionals, with an overall goal of improving communication between listed entities and the market,” said Macrae.
The course is targeted at CEOs, CFOs, IROs, Corporate Communications or other professionals with responsibility for the Investor Relations (IR) function.
AIRA CEO, Ian Matheson said, “We cover a broad range of topics in this course, and have received good feedback on the content from previous New Zealand delegates.”
“Each year we reassess the course structure in response to any new issues facing investor relations professionals. Topics added to the programme more recently, based on demand, are utilising retail broker channels and social media and investor relations,” said Matheson.
