ASX: Senior Appointments

Australian Stock Exchange Limited (ASX) this morning announced that, as part of a wider redeployment of senior management and in pursuit of the company's strategy, Colin Scully is to be appointed as Chief Operating Officer, effective from 26 November 2001.

In other changes, John McMurtrie will become Chief Executive Officer of ASX Perpetual Registrars Limited (ASX Perpetual), the joint venture between ASX and Perpetual Trustees Limited, and will report to the Board of ASX Perpetual; Michael Roche is appointed Executive General Manager, Market Services; Karen Hamilton is appointed Executive General Manager, Issuers and Market Integrity; Christine Jones is appointed General Counsel and will be appointed Company Secretary; and Stephen Mills is appointed Executive General Manager, Corporate Relations and Investor Services.
