ASX Sees Record Trading Levels

ASX has recorded the second highest number of trades in a single month, for the month of October.

There were 1.73 million trades in the month. This is the highest level of trading since March 2000.

October was also the highest value ever for a month, beating last month's record at $55.9 billion.
