ASX Releases 2003 Annual Report

ASX today released its 2002/03 annual report to shareholders. For the first time, this year we are able to present an electronic copy of the report to shareholders and the market in advance of the printed and bound copy. This is in accordance with the ASX Corporate Governance Council Principles of Good Corporate Governance released in March this year. The hard-copy version will be mailed on 22 September 2003 to those shareholders who elect to receive it in that form.

ASX also today unveils its new Corporate Governance webpage. This is based on the 10 essential governance principles outlined in the Council's report and includes all relevant ASX Charters, Codes, Policies and Procedures. We hope that by articulating our company's values and governance practices in a way that is accessible to all investors and other market participants we will maintain the high standard of transparency and disclosure expected of ASX.
