Assets invested in ETFs/ETPs listed in the United States have broken through the 2 trillion dollar milestone according to new research by ETFGI.

2014 has been a very good year for the ETF/ETP industry in the United States.

Through December 22^nd, assets increased 18% from US$1.698 trillion to US$2.007 trillion based on positive market performance and net new assets.

Year to date the US listed ETF/ETP industry has gathered a record setting US$232 billion in net new assets beating the prior full year record of US$190 billion in 2013.
