Jean-Pierre Jouyet on 15 December took up his post as Chairman of the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) following the promulgation of a presidential decree dated 12 December 20081. Also on 15 December, the first meeting of the newly constituted Board was held under Mr Jouyet's chairmanship. The Board members are 2:
