Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano opens trading at the TSX Broadcast Centre on Thursday, October 25, 2007.
This event comes just three weeks after representatives from Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange visited Phoenix as part of its U.S. business development campaign to encourage U.S. issuers to seek listings on Canadian exchanges.
The recent Phoenix leg of the 10-city TSX American tour drew the biggest turnout so far proving the resource-rich area to be a natural ally for the leading resource-exchange in the world.
The Arizona Governor‘s opening of the TSX is a stopover in a trade mission to Canada. In hopes to further the Arizona-Canada business relationship, Governor Napolitano is visiting Ottawa, Toronto and Winnipeg throughout October.
