Aquis Exchange To Launch On 26 November 2013

• Aquis Exchange will launch on 26 November 2013, offering trade in the constituent stocks of the FTSE 100, CAC 40 and AEX 25

Aquis Exchange, the pan-European equity trading exchange, will launch on 26 November 2013. In the first phase the company will offer trade in the UK, French and Dutch blue-chip stocks. The constituent stocks of the FTSE 100, CAC 40 and AEX 25 will be included. Aquis Exchange is a Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) regulated by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Aquis Exchange is planning to add stocks from further European markets in mid-January.

In August 2013, Warsaw Stock Exchange and Aquis Exchange entered into an agreement whereby WSE will acquire a stake in Aquis Exchange representing 30% of the total vote at the Aquis Exchange General Meeting, the right to a 30% share of the company’s profit, and the right to nominate two representatives to the Aquis Exchange Board of Directors.
