Appointments To The Governing Bodies Of LIFFE And Euronext

Coincident with Euronext's Annual General Meeting yesterday, when additional appointments to its Managing and Supervisory Boards were confirmed, LIFFE has announced that the following appointments have been made.

Joining the Supervisory Board of Euronext N.V.

• George Cox (Director General, Institute of Directors)
• Sir Brian Williamson (Chairman, LIFFE)

Joining the Managing Board of Euronext N.V.

• Hugh Freedberg (Chief Executive Officer, LIFFE)

Joining the LIFFE Board:

• Jean-François Théodore (Chairman of the Managing Board, and Chief Executive Officer, of Euronext N.V.)
• George Möller (Member of the Managing Board and Chief Operating Officer of Euronext N.V., appointed as a deputy Chairman of LIFFE)
• Richard Lambert (formerly the editor of the Financial Times, appointed as an independent non-executive director in place of George Cox, who has retired from the LIFFE Board)
• Peter Friend (Chief Operating Officer, LIFFE)
• Mark Hemsley (Managing Director, LIFFE Market Solutions)
