The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) welcomes the appointments and re-appointments by the Financial Secretary of members to the SFC Advisory Committee for two years from 1 June 2019 to 31 May 2021 (Note 1).
"I warmly welcome the five new members whom I trust will bring to the SFC valuable insights on matters related to the SFC’s policy and market regulation. I also look forward to the continued support and advice of the seven re-appointed members," said Mr Tim Lui, the SFC’s Chairman.
"I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the five outgoing members for their contribution to the SFC during their term," Mr Lui added.
