Appointment To HKEx's Risk Management Committee

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) welcomes the Financial Secretary's appointment of He Guangbei as a member of its Risk Management Committee (RMC). The appointment, which was made under the Securities and Futures Ordinance, will take effect tomorrow (Friday) and will run until 19 January 2008.

Mr He will succeed Wong Tung-shun, Peter, who is retiring from the RMC today (Thursday). HKEx wishes to express its sincere gratitude to Mr Wong for his contribution to the RMC.

From tomorrow, members of the RMC will comprise:
